UMA BREVE REFLEXÃO SOBRE A MISSÃO DA IGREJA CRISTÃ

Resumo

A missão da igreja cristã, durante muito tempo, foi compreendida inadequadamente, através de uma ótica reducionista, onde se considerava que o único e exclusivo dever que a igreja tinha era “ganhar almas, salvar indivíduos do inferno e plantar igrejas”. Sem dúvida, a missão cristã é bem mais que isso. A luz das Sagradas Escrituras, ela envolve várias dimensões, e em virtude disso, este artigo visa trazer uma breve reflexão sobre a missão da igreja cristã e sua relação com a responsabilidade social. O artigo está dividido estruturalmente em cinco partes principais: na primeira, é analisada a perspectiva missiológica de Orlando Costas e sua compreensão acerca do Ministério Quadridimensional da Igreja; na segunda parte é apontado o ponto de vista de Réne Padilha (2002) sobre a Missão Integral; Na terceira parte, busca-se refletir sobre Leonardo Boff (1994) e a Missão da Igreja sob o prisma da Teologia da Libertação, bem como, analisar os pontos negativos e positivos dessa teologia; na quarta parte é destacada a perspectiva missiológica de Jürgen Moltmann (1991) e a Teologia da Esperança; e por fim, é discutida a visão missiológica de José Comblin (1991) e a Pastoral Urbana.

Abstract

The mission of the Christian church, for long, been inadequately understood through a reductionist perspective, which was believed to be the sole and exclusive duty that the church was "winning souls, save people from hell and planting churches." Undoubtedly, the Christian mission is much more than that. The light of the Holy Scriptures, it involves many dimensions and because of this, this article aims to bring a brief reflection on the mission of the Christian church and its relationship to social responsibility. The article is divided structurally into five main parts: the first analyzes the missiological perspective of Orlando Costas and his understanding of the Four-dimensional Ministry of the Church; the second half is appointed the view of René Padilla (2002) on Integral Mission; In the third part, we try to reflect on Leonardo Boff (1994) and the Mission of the Church from the perspective of liberation theology, and to evaluate the positive and negative points of this theology; the fourth part is highlighted missiological perspective of Jürgen Moltmann (1991) and the Theology of Hope; and finally, missiological view Comblin Joseph (1991) and Urban Ministry is discussed.
