A ESPINHA DORSAL DA IGREJA

Resumo

A Teologia é a espinha dorsal da Igreja. Se é verdade que a Igreja reflete e sistematiza seu entendimento sobre a Bíblia no contexto social em que vive, também é verdade que esse entendimento refletido e sistematizado sobre as Escrituras é que a norteia servindo de espinha dorsal para sua crença e, então, para sua prática. Isso é demonstrado através da exposição dos dois primeiros movimentos da Reforma do séc. XVI, o Luteranismo e o Calvinismo; essa realidade instrui a leitura da realidade da igreja brasileira.

ABSTRACT

The Theology is the Church’s backbone. If it is true that the Church reflects and sistematize their understanding about Bible in the social context in which it lives, it is also true that this thoughtful and systematic understanding of the Scriptures is that guides serving as backbone for their belief and then so to the practice. This is established by revealing the first two actions of the century XVI’s Reformation, the Lutheranism and Calvinism; this instructs the reading of reality of the Brazilian church.
