A PANDEMIA DE COVID-19, O CRISTÃO, A IGREJA E A SUA MISSÃO

Resumo

Este artigo parte do pressuposto, que a crise que foi estabelecida em todo o mundo por causa da pandemia do novo coronavírus, está criando uma enorme oportunidade para a Igreja do Senhor Jesus Cristo cumprir sua finalidade sobre a face da terra. A abordagem inicial destaca que tanto o cristão individualmente, quanto a igreja local, devem assumir uma postura bíblica em relação ao real perigo que é oferecido pelo vírus. Em seguida, esta pesquisa procura demonstrar o que a pandemia de Covid-19 está ensinando a igreja local em relação à importância do templo na Nova Aliança, e qual é a sua missão como Igreja de Cristo. Por fim, ressalta as características bíblicas da Igreja de Cristo e como a igreja local deve agir em meio à crise causada pela pandemia do novo coronavírus.

ABSTRACT

This article assumes that the crisis that was established around the word because of the new coronavirus pandemics is creating an enormous opportunity for the church of the Lord Jesus Christ to fulfill its purpose on the face of the earth. The initial approach highlights that both the individual Christian, and the local church must take a biblical stance in relation to the real danger that is offered by the virus. This research then seeks to demonstrate what the Covid-19 pandemic is teaching the local church regarding the importance of the temple in the New Covenant and what its mission is as Church of Christ. Finally, it highlights the biblical characteristics of the Church of Christ and how the local church should act in the midst of the crisis caused by the pandemic of the new coronavirus.
