O DEUS ESQUECIDO: CONSIDERAÇÕES PRELIMINARES SOBRE A DOUTRINA E A PESSOA DO ESPÍRITO SANTO

Resumo

O artigo propõe discorrer sobre o loci da pneumatologia, destacando a pessoa do
Espírito Santo, seu lugar na Escritura, na reflexão doutrinária e na história da
igreja. Evidentemente, a proposta é operar uma síntese, tendo em vista a
envergadura da tarefa. A interrogação que deu norte ao estudo foi a seguinte: qual
é o lugar da Pessoa do Espírito Santo na Escritura, no desenvolvimento histórico
da doutrina e na vida da igreja? Na tentativa de dar respostas ao problema
levantado, optou-se por explorar os insights bíblicos, a teologia histórica e
sistemática, além de parte da história da igreja. Evidentemente, outra questão de
máxima importância será destacada, ou seja, questões práticas como o culto, a
oração e mesmo os elementos culturais a exemplo dos artefatos musicais e do
lirismo cristão através do tempo.

ABSTRACT
The article proposes to discuss the loci of pneumatology, highlighting the person
of the Holy Spirit, his place in Scripture, in doctrinal reflection and in the history of
the church. Evidently, the proposal is to operate a synthesis, taking into account
the scale of the task. The question that guided the study was the following: what is
the place of the Person of the Holy Spirit in Scripture, in the historical development
of doctrine and in the life of the church? In an attempt to provide answers to the
problem raised, we chose to explore biblical insights, historical and systematic
theology, as well as part of the history of the church. Evidently, another issue of
utmost importance will be highlighted, that is, practical issues such as worship,
prayer and even cultural elements such as musical artifacts and Christian lyricism
over time.
