A BUSCA PELA CONVERGÊNCIA ENTRE CONHECIMENTO TEOLÓGICO E PIEDADE CRISTÃ: UM DESAFIO URGENTE PARA AS ESCOLAS DE TEOLOGIA

Resumo

Este estudo trata da busca pela convergência entre o conhecimento teológico e a piedade cristã. Convergência não é uma experiência historicamente percebida muitas vezes na maioria dos centros acadêmicos teológicos. Há, muitas vezes, pelo contrário, uma tendência de pessoas irem para o mundo acadêmico teológico e quase perderem a própria fé, visto que, muitas vezes, no desenvolvimento da vida acadêmica, acabam por abandonar a prática da vida piedosa, a vida da reflexão somada às disciplinas espirituais, tais como a devoção, oração, contrição, confissão e adoração. A pesquisa teve como objetivos analisar as fontes bibliográficas para uma avaliação do assunto; verificar a vida de alguns personagens históricos como referência para a busca da convergência entre conhecimento e piedade; avaliar algumas práticas atuais de espiritualidade e, por fim, discutir proposta para a prática dessa convergência.

ABSTRACT

This study it deals with the search for the convergence between theological knowledge and the Christian mercy. This convergence is not an experience historically perceived many times in the majority of the theological academic centers. Having, many times, for the opposite, a trend of people capsize almost for the theological academic world and to lose the proper faith, since, many times, in the development of the academic life, finish for abandoning the practical one of the merciful life, the life of the reflection added to them discipline spirituals, such as the devotion, conjunct, repentance, confession and worship. The research had as objective, to analyze the bibliographical sources for an evaluation of the subject; to verify the life of some historical personages as reference for the search of the convergence between knowledge and mercy; to evaluate some practical current of spirituality and, finally, to argue proposal for the practical one of this convergence.
