OS FUNDAMENTOS FILOSÓFICOS DA ESCOLA CRISTÃ NO CONTEXTO BRASILEIRO

Resumo

 

Este artigo parte da ausência de uma filosofia educacional capaz de integrar, nas práticas pedagógicas da escola brasileira denominada cristã, os princípios cristãos sobre Deus, a vida, o homem e a natureza, com as disciplinas espalhadas nas várias áreas do conhecimento. Tem o objetivo de identificar a escola cristã como aquela que oferece um processo de treinamento e desenvolvimento da pessoa e de seus dons naturais da perspectiva cristã. Define educação e educação cristã, identifica as bases filosóficas da educação cristã na Filosofia da Educação, localiza as filosofias modernas presentes nas práticas educacionais da escola não cristã e da escola cristã, e apresenta um projeto de filosofia de educação cristã que tem a Bíblia como o livro da revelação do Deus criador como o fundamento de todas as áreas do conhecimento e como a ação que deve permear essas áreas para que o ensino seja, de fato, íntegro e seu conteúdo visto de uma perspectiva correta. A pesquisa conclui que a escola cristã distingue-se da escola não cristã devido a sua filosofia educacional. Os principais teóricos utilizados foram Portela Neto (2012) e Associação Internacional de Escolas Cristãs (2004).

ABSTRACT

This article, part of the lack of educational philosophy, is able to integrate the pedagogical practices of the Brazilian schools called Christian, Christian principles about God, life, man and nature, with subjects scattered in various areas of knowledge. It aims to identify the Christian school as one that offers a training process and development of the person and his natural gifts of the Christian perspective. It defines education and Christian education, it identifies the philosophical foundations of Christian education in Philosophy of Education, it finds the modern philosophies present in the educational practices of non-Christian schools and Christian schools, and has a Christian philosophy of education project that has the Bible as the book of the revelation from the creator God as the foundation of all areas of knowledge and as the action that should permeate these areas so that teaching is indeed whole and its contents viewed from the right perspective. The research concludes that the Christian school is distinguished from non-Christian schools because of its educational philosophy. The theorists mainly used were Portela Neto (2012) and the International Christian Schools Association (2004).
